Blame vs Empathy.

It’s easy to blame people for their living situation, but if you look deeper you will understand their circumstances. Being unjustly fired from a job, a dramatic raise in rent, the death of a loved one, fleeing abusive situations, injuries, trauma, and a myriad of other reasons can shatter stability and put someone on the street. I think most people would be shocked by how close they are to being houseless. Creating a video campaign for the Missoula Missoula Poverello Center was an eye opening experience and one that has changed me forever.
